Today, one of my European customers requested a casting steel program made of C20-UNI 7845 C22R-10083-1 S235J2G3 or S235JR. Contact with material suppliers suggests that Q235 steel (in China sometimes called A3 steel) is a good replacement alternative material. So we compare these two materials below, and we will see the differences. We can see they are similar in chemical composition, and mechanical properties, and they all belong to carbon structural steel.
